Dear students,
Nursing is an applied health discipline that consists of science and art and is constantly evolving. It is the responsibility of nursing; to plan, practice, and evaluate nursing services for the purpose of protecting and improving the health of the individual, family, and society and to train the people who will perform these services.
Increasing population, changes in social and economic structure, and differentiation of needs have led to an increase in the need for nurses in the health sector, which has made nursing one of the most important professions of our time.
Our University's Department of Nursing which aims to train and graduate qualified nurses has adopted the principle of training nurses who can use technology and information, believe in teamwork, are responsible for the treatment and care of patients with a holistic approach, serve for the maintenance and development of the health of the individuals and society, and are preferred nationally and internationally. In parallel with this, our curriculum has been planned to facilitate the development of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills and is designed to be compatible with the European Union.
With the strong educational foundation it provides, our curriculum plays a major role in training graduates who support and produce academic research and strive to improve themselves throughout their careers.
Our graduates can work in public or private institutions that provide health services, and they can also take part in educational institutions. Our graduates will be able to do national and international academic studies. Every student who graduates from our undergraduate program by choosing Tarsus University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department will, first of all, experience the justified pride of increasing people's health standards. In this context, we invite you to our Nursing Department to train qualified nurses needed by the healthcare field.
